Jennifer graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in mathematics and did two years of graduate work in the same field before settling down to keep house and raise children. When folks accuse Jennifer of “wasting” her degree, she simply tells them “I’ve used it to “stay home and multiply””. It also comes in handy when teaching calculus to high schoolers. When not spending time with her husband or teaching their kids, Jennifer likes to scrapbook, read (and write) good books, make handcrafts, and occasionally jog around the block. In addition to blogging for their family website, on the topics of education, organization, housekeeping, and family fun, Jennifer can be found writing about marriage, motherhood, ad feminism on her other blog: Loving Life at Home.
Workshops that will be presented at the 2017 FEAST Convention:
1) “25 Ways to Communicate Respect to Your Husband”
The Bible teaches that a wife should respect her husband, but feeling respect and showing it are two different things. This discussion explores how to demonstrate honor and respect in the ways that are most meaningful to your man.
2) “Girl Power: Don’t Waste It”
We hear a lot about female empowerment, but would we even recognize a truly empowered woman if we saw her? Maybe, maybe not. In the past half-century, women have spent so much time fighting for sexual equality that much of the very real power unique to our sex has been lost, squandered, or forgotten. The proverbial baby has been tossed out with the bath water, and it is time we retrieve it.
3) “How to Breathe Life into Your Marriage”
Does it feel like your marriage needs resuscitating? Then follow these four easy steps to breathe some life back into your relationship.
