Former homeschooler Daniel Gonzalez , a senior at Great Hearts Monte Vista, has had several years of advanced math and engineering courses, including programs at UTSA, University of Notre Dame, NASA JSC, and the Art of Problem Solving, and five years of Latin. His honors include a 790 on the SAT Math section, a 36 on the ACT Math section, and multiple school awards, including Summa Cum Laude twice on the National Latin Exam.

I have an undergraduate degree in Spanish and French from LSU and a master’s degree in Spanish from Middlebury College. I spent a school year in France and a school year in Spain while pursuing my college degrees. I taught high school Spanish and French for 10 years in Northside ISD. I have been a substitute for Northeast ISD since 2008. I enjoy working with children in grades K-12.
